SOL EGDS is ethylene glycol distearate (EGDS) – an ester of ethylene glycol and stearic acid – used as an emulsifier and opacifying agent in shampoos, soaps, and shower gels. It comes in off-white flakes, melts at 62–70 °C, and delivers excellent thickening and visual enhancement for personal care products.
