A character’s backstory can provide valuable insight into their beliefs, fears, and relationships. Actors Hub Perth explores how understanding a character’s past can inform present behaviour without adding unnecessary details to the performance. By identifying experiences that influence a character’s decisions, actors can create richer interpretations, establish believable motivations, and bring greater depth to their storytelling.
