Changing the insert on a KSEM drill replacement doesn’t take many steps, but you need to pay close attention. First, take out the drill body from the drill and wipe off any debris it might have. Apply the manufacturer’s device to ease out and unwind the insert. Look for signs of damage in the pockets and the clamping areas. Assemble the insert into the hole by placing it securely inside and fastening it. Before you start, check the recommended torque so that the drill doesn’t move while you drill. When the drill is installed, use your fingers to move the user shaft through its full rotation to check that it works well, before powering on the drill.
