The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Program is one of the three Express Entry programs, and it is meant for skilled workers with experience outside Canada. To be eligible, applicants need at least one year of continuous full-time skilled work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work) in a TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupation within the last 10 years. They must also meet a minimum language level of CLB 7 in English or French and have a Canadian secondary school credential or a foreign credential with an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA). Applicants are then scored out of 100 on six selection factors: language ability, education, work experience, age, arranged employment, and adaptability.
